So I've chosen a thumbnail to pursue development on as I was quite taken with the framing, and the ability to showcase all that Gyro had to offer.
I'm a little unsure on setting the shot in daylight, though It seems as though to set it at night would be at odds with the colour choices Balla uses, as he works mainly in very bright settings. But I definitely feel as though this shot would be better and showcase the danger/beauty aspects of Gyro a little more if set at night.
So, yeah, it's still in progress more or less.
I don't quite understand the spiral element - is it receding into the picture plane, as a road or path might?

DeleteIt is yeah, I'm still working on getting it to look less flat. There's a certain image of Balla's that uses the same shapes which inspired me to go with a less conventional track.
Do you think I might be right about the lighting?
I'm liking the blue structures - are they floating in mid air?
ReplyDeleteYeah they're supposed to be moving buildings that slot into the ground. Haven't added the slots yet. Still trying to fix the spiral haha
